I talk you listen

This is my third blog.
The first was the Musical Chord, which I updated from August 2005 till December 2006. I remember fondly in about September 2005 where some NY girls apparently started spamming my tagboard, and up till today I still don't know who did the spamming. I stopped updating it once I reached 100 posts, but actually over these years I should have posted about 200. I stopped updating for once and deleted the blog somewhere in March, but however I opened it again after the June holidays, which should make the total number of actual posts to be more than 100. Maybe 200?
My second blog is the Piano Lounge, which started functioning since last month. I have not been updating it since 29 December, and it mostly talks about music, technique, interviews, and maybe some reviews I am going to add into it. I suppose maybe I need more helpers as music is an extremely huge topic to cover.
As you can see, and I quote from Andrew, brother of Matthew (section leader), son of a Chua, classmate of a Shin, "I am writing in perfect English".
That's because the aim of this blog is to record down stories, anecdotes, stuff that happens in your daily life. For my English assignment.
And the assignment reads: Blog of Personal Response to Current Affairs
Current affairs.

Content: You are to look up articles online or in print about current affairs, provide URL links to them or scan them clearly to post on your blog. You are to write a response to the articles you have chosen. For each submission, you are to submit a response for an article in two of the following categories:

  • Politics/societal issues
  • Environmental Issues
  • Educational Issues
  • Issues regarding teenagers

Suddenly the word "Issues" seems like weird stuff. And from what I read in Readers' Digest, its the opposite of deja vu.

It says here to feel free to post articles other than those required to enrich your reading, but you will not be penalized if you do not write a response for those.
Word Limit: The write-up is to be 350-500 words. (wth? Personally I think its a little for blog writing. Sorry guys.) The word limit should be strictly followed. Should you exceed the word limit, every 5 words outside of the word limit will cost you 1 mark.
Following that Bryan would then ask can exceed by 2.5 words? Is that 1/2 mark deducted? (By the way Bryan's from my class)
Lastly my blog title. "I talk you listen" It was quite spontaneous, thinking about this phrase which has been mentioned to me many, many, times in my entire life. From primary school teachers, to leaders leading a group, to teachers on the podium, and of course, in the classrooms.
This phrase, I talk you listen, is used countless of times, between teachers and students, between parents and children, between dominating mums and submissive dads, and in countless of relationships.
This phrase, I talk you listen, is essential, because if no one talks, then ultimately there would be no discussion, no arguments, no decision finalized, and if no one listens, the result would still be the same, only lots of discussion, but no decision finalized, and no conclusions made.
I chose this phrase as the title of my blog because I am the only one posting here, so it would kind of seem logical for me to be the only one talking, and you viewers "listening".
But don't worry, there will be time when You talk I listen, and thats when the tagboard comes into play...
So I hope you all can voice your opinions of my day-to-day life stories, my political reasonings, and my criticisms!
Bye!
